Peanut Butter & Jelly - Food Drive



     Life, Legacies & Landmarks, Inc., a division of the Jacob Henry Mansion is hosting a summer food drive to help support the St. John’s Food Pantry.

     While delivering food to the St. John’s Food Pantry in Joliet this past December, they shared with us how difficult the summer months are for them to help families.  People give so graciously during the holidays, but do not think about the summer months when children are home all day without a school provided lunch.  So we are hosting a food drive to “pack the pantries” this summer!

     You may participate in this community food drive by filling a bag with non-perishable items and taking it to:

• The Jacob Henry Mansion, 20 South Eastern Avenue, Joliet

• JD Brown Hospital Supply and Pharmacy, 837 Plainfield Road, Joliet. 

     Tax deductible donations will also be accepted please make out checks and mail to:

     We suggest the following breakfast or lunch items:

Peanut butter
Jelly
Cereal
Granola or Breakfast bars
Chef Boy-R-D
Easy Mac or Macaroni & Cheese
Fruit Snacks

     With each donation of 3 or more items, you may enter your name into a raffle to win 2 tickets to one of Jacob Henry Mansion’s lunch matinee shows!

     We are excited to share that we have an anonymous donor who will match all monetary donations made to our Peanut Butter & Jelly summer food drive!
